About Us:
VOS Discovery, a biotech company pioneering the CRO market in Vietnam and a subsidiary of Organoid Sciences, is expanding its
expertise in intellectual property (IP) management across various industries, including biotech, healthcare, and technology. We are
seeking a highly motivated Intellectual Property Specialist to manage, protect, and optimize our intellectual property assets. The ideal
candidate will have experience in patent filing, IP portfolio management, and legal compliance, with a strong understanding of both
biotech-related and general intellectual property matters.
Responsibilities:
- IP Strategy & Portfolio Management:
- Develop and implement intellectual property strategies for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets across various industries.
- Monitor, assess, and manage the company’s IP portfolio to ensure protection and commercialization opportunities.
- Patent & Trademark Management:
- Conduct patentability searches, prior art analysis, and competitive IP landscape evaluations.
- Draft, file, and manage patent and trademark applications in multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure all IP filings comply with national and international patent and trademark laws.
- Liaise with external patent attorneys and IP offices to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with R&D and legal teams to align IP strategies with business goals.
- Educate internal teams on best practices for IP protection and management.
Skills and Experience:
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in intellectual property management with exposure to biotech and technology industries.
- Strong knowledge of global IP laws, including patent, trademark, and copyright regulations.
- Experience in drafting, filing, and prosecuting patents and trademarks.
- Ability to conduct patent searches, prior art analysis, and risk assessments.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- A degree in law, intellectual property, biotechnology, engineering, or a related field.
